Made in New York is a three-gallery exploration of contemporary design and production in New York City today. An homage to the productive industries that once populated the Seaport district, this installation includes a wide range of work, from furniture and objects for the home to the innovative garments of up-and-coming fashion designers. Joining curator Donald Albrecht for the evening will be designers-makers David Nosanchuk, of Nosanchuk Inc.; Jon Sherman, of Flavor Paper; Daniel Michalik of Daniel Michalik Furnature; David Smith of Strawser & Smith; Drew Stuart and Adam Rolston, of Incorporated Architecture & Design; and Michele Oka Doner, Artist and Author.
