Aldo Tambellini : BLACK ZERO
The Boris Lurie Art Foundation is pleased to announce a major retrospective exhibition of paintings, sculpture, lumagrams, videograms, film, video, and television work (1960-1990) by the American avant-garde artist, Aldo Tambellini, entitled Black Zero. The exhibition will take place at the Chelsea Art Museum (second floor) at 22nd Street and 11th Avenue, New York, NY, from 1 October through 1 November. A public opening reception will be held on 6 October from 5-8, and a performance of Tambellini's Black Zero, featuring, Christopph Draeger, Ben Morea, and Keweighbaye Kotee, will begin at 6 pm on 20 October. The artist will be present at both events.
