Winds Of Change Installation by Elizabeth Sowell-Zak
This Installed work responds to the upheaval in redefining identity and the necessity of the journey to make change. The beauty comes in the aftermath of the storm with an ensuing experiment with bags as containers, a reflection of myself, a woman, a biological container and as a container of my own power to create change an the temporal significance that accompanies change.
As the progress of time passes, change takes place with the deterioration of the old allowing space for the progress of the new. As a time based piece, the installation has been photographed from inception to completion and is now being photograph in its' life process giving inspiration and progressive way for the next evolution.
