DESCRIPTION

Art’s Alive and Well in the Schools is celebrating its 34th anniversary this year, and we have a lot to celebrate. Ever expanding, the SAAG will showcase over 420 pieces of art from 31 schools in Lethbridge. Chosen by individual teachers in collaboration with Lethbridge School District 51 and the Southern Alberta Art Gallery, the exhibition features a variety of work from all grade levels and all districts within Lethbridge. Come to the gallery and see what the artists of the future are creating!

Art’s Alive and Well in the Schools  is a perennial success thanks to the hard work and dedication of Gail Kruchkywich from the Curriculum Resource Centre of Lethbridge School District No. 51. Without the passion and enthusiasm Gail brings to Art’s Alive, this program would not be the same. In this year of her retirement, the SAAG would like to honour the work she has done bringing the community together. Thank you Gail and best of luck in your future endeavors!
