DESCRIPTION

Becoming Something Found is the second incarnation of Come Through, a multigenerational group show exploring how chance and uncertainty guide the processes of making art. Both exhibitions developed out of an understanding of one another’s approaches to making that embraces the unknown and allows chance and uncertainty to guide processes. The group formed itself around discussions, visits and travels. We are connected through diverse practices that involve scattered and unplanned gestures and wandering and indirect courses. For us, making art entails an ability to get lost and to remain open to what we may find.

Curated by Fabienne Lasserre and Molly Smith

Featuring work by Jessica Dickinson, Emily Do, Rachel Foullon, Shelia Hicks, Alison Knowles, Fabienne Lasserre, Siobhan Liddell, Ree Morton, Nathlie Provosty, Jo Smail, Molly Smith and Others
