DESCRIPTION

If you go to the website for the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and click the tab for food there is a rather inclusive, thought-provoking and curious list of topics related to food that you can explore: Biotechnology, Dietary Supplements, Food Defense & Emergency Response, Food Ingredients & Packaging, Food Safety, International Activities, Labeling & Nutrition, News & Events, Resources for Consumers, and Science & Research.

This rangy list is how the American government presents food ideas to us.  The artists included in Provisions address many of the same issues, although what binds them together is the basic need to be fed.
