DESCRIPTION

In this powerful exhibit curated by Director Marc Lambert, the Puffin Cultural Forum brings together works in various media by New York artists about urban life after 9/11 amidst heightened in/security, ever-changing cityscapes, urban decay, and modern beauty. Some of the artists had studio space in the World Trade Center; some had studios nearby. Through paintings, drawings, collages, photography, multimedia installations, and printmaking, these artists portray the emotional, economic, visual, and social ramifications of this world-changing historic moment as they reach forward with their art and their lives.
