The Pen and Brush proudly presents Nette Forné Thomas, Traversing Three Themes:  Woman’s Struggle, Lace Doilies and Paper Dolls, Victorian Legacy. Thomas has exhibited extensively throughout her career as an artist and arts educator.  The current direction of her work focuses in the idealization of “woman” and the view of that role as maternal icon and consummate mate – epitomizing the perceived virtues of the feminine “mystique”.  The artist endeavors to portray the assumed captivating aspects of womanhood, while evoking the realization that the achievement of this pinnacle encapsula
