DESCRIPTION

“Homecoming,” a new perspective on home and the plight of the homeless ― the human, political and emotional minefields is an intriguing yet accessible show, the exhibition features six remarkable artists examining our community’s challenging and heartrending homelessness issues and the equally compelling significance of home and respect for the environment. Helping us to reason and reckon about home are contemporary artists working magic in a variety of media.

Wherever it is located, home is where lasting bonds, values, one's philosophical and political views are birthed, along with many life-long relationships and friendships. The artists featured in "Homecoming" are deeply concerned about the environment, the plight of the homeless and the role of home in shaping and influencing us as individuals and as the place where we return for solace in good and bad times.
