This ongoing film-based series highl ights avant guard filmmakers who have worked extensively with optical print ing techniques or have been influenced by optical printing in their work. A rtists within the programming are some of the pioneers of optical printing as well as innovators of new machines\, video\, computer software manipulat ion\, and hybrid printing techniques to create something entirely new. Youn ger artists within the program exemplify similar methodologies of thinking and showcase their own customized techniques.
