Yori Bailleres

My name is Yori and I’m a citizen of the world. Initially my passion was Electronic Music, but I discovered a few years ago that pictures could also address similar themes and effects as those found in music. Starting with photography at the beginning of 2009, I was instantly attracted by abstract images. Especially whatever is rusty, dirty or broken, where « beauty » is supposedly not to be found, I usually look much closer… and stare.
Detail oriented, my pictures tend to be spontaneous, colourful and ambiguous. My aim is to capture the small things that are secretly powerful but that people don’t usually spot in their everyday life. There are millions of hidden paintings just around the corner, we just have to sharpen our eyes!
