Art is an expression of soul. when one is fortunate enough to be able to express it in a art form such as the visual arts and they are fortunate to be able to share a piece of themselves. For me it is as close as I  can get to becoming one with my maker, creating my expression of what I feel, think and experience. When I share it with the viewer it is a very intimate view into my soul and should not be taken lightly. Like love art is a expression of the self. I have been painting and showing my work for over 20 years. I have shown and sold my work in Illinois, Colorado, California, Virginia and Wisconsin. I am best known for color saturated abstract work. I work with oils and pastels but enjoy working with all mediums. I am currently working on a series of seascapes in oil and figure work in pastels. The seascape is a series of paintings representing my relationship with my father who has recently passed away. It shows a progression of my work from realisim to abstract. Once I have completed the series I will post in on this website.
