Antonia Ward is a Los Angeles-based writer, and freelance art and cultural heritage specialist. She has ten years’ professional experience in the art market and cultural organisations, specialising in writing, editorial project management and cultural journalism.
Prior to moving to Los Angeles, Antonia was Deputy Director at Sotheby’s London, where she was Senior Project Manager & Writer in the Proposals Department, the company’s competitive strategy, research and editorial project management division supporting high-value business getting.
Antonia holds an MSc in Sustainable Heritage from UCL, University College London, and an MA Honours in History of Art & Architectural History from the University of Edinburgh. Her MA Honours thesis analyzed international collaboration in conservation of Yemen’s cultural heritage, her MSc dissertation addressed the framework for decision-making about the potential for cultural tourism to contribute to local economic development in historic medinas in the Middle East and North Africa. Antonia is currently working on a research project relating to cultural heritage in Madagascar.
