Independent curator Chris Fitzpatrick holds an MA in Curatorial Practice from the California College of the Arts and has been awarded residencies at FIAC/Fondation d'entreprise Ricard (Paris, France), Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo (Turin, Italy), and The Banff Centre (Alberta, Canada). From 2009-2010, he worked as Project Manager on the exhibition and corresponding catalog The Marvelous Museum - Orphans, Curiosities & Treasures: A Mark Dion Project at the Oakland Museum of California. His writing and interviews have been taped to the feet of carrier pigeons and published in Mousse Magazine, Art in America Magazine Online, Artslant, Alternet, and Camerawork: A Journal of Photographic Arts.
