Costanza Ciabatti (born in 1987, Italy) graduated with a BA in Art History from University La Sapienza in Rome in 2010, where she specialized in Contemporary Italian Art since 1900. She obtained an MA in Art History at University La Sapienza in Rome in 2013, specializing in Contemporary Canadian Art and the relation with sociology, after studying at the University of British Columbia and Emily Carr University of Art and Design in Vancouver. For the last three years, she has worked as assistant curator and gallery assistant in a number of contemporary art institutions in the United States (NOoSPHERE Arts, NYC) and in Canada (Contemporary Art Gallery of Vancouver), and as freelance arts administrator in Italy. She also participated in 'Connect Culture with Poster' a cultural project in Turkey in 2013, and at the 'Festspillene I Bergen' in 2014. As a result of her studies in art and communication, and her interest in relating issues in different creative fields, she focuses on interdisciplinary works.
