Dave Willis is an emerging art critic and independent curator from New York, currently based in Chiang Mai, Thailand.

His primary interests include Photography, Video, Collage, Multi-Media, and Installation. He has published with The Brooklyn Rail,, and, and is a founding editor of the new art criticism web journal

Dave served as curatorial assistant to independent curator and publisher of The Brooklyn Rail, Phong Bui, to organize the Come Together: Surviving Sandy, Year 1 exhibition for The Dedalus Foundation at Industry City, in Sunset Park, Brooklyn, which Jerry Saltz rated the Best Show of 2013:

Dave holds a BA in Cultural Anthropology from Columbia University and an MFA in Art Criticism and Writing from The School of Visual Art.
