Atlanta College of Art • Atlanta, GA • 1968 to 1972 • BFA • Painting & Printmaking

Professors of note: Ed Ross, an abstract minimalist painter and Anthony Greco, a well respected realist painter.

University of South Carolina • Columbia, SC • 1973 to 1975 • MFA • Painting & Printmaking

Studied under Derek Southall, an English lyrical abstract painter while in residence at USC. Graduate works revealed a strong inclination toward color field relationships, lyrical abstraction and non-representational abstract expressionism.
