For his first solo exhibition at Galerie Christian Ehrentraut, Nicola Samorì relocated to Berlin for several months in 2011 to produce a series of new works. Born in 1977 and raised in a small northeastern Italian town, the artist draws on a rich history of Baroque and Renaissance art, and has developed a unique technique that both honors and critiques the works he grew up with.
