Latino Art Museum
Considering the experience of Fomento Cultural Mexico, acquired over 4 decades of uninterrupted activity promoting Mexican Art in diverse forums of the world, we have accepted the proposal of the Latino Art Museum of California to present during 2019 diverse individual and thematic expositions of Mexican artists, according to that makes us very proud because it will allow us to accredit and position the art and Mexican artists in the 2nd art market of the United States.
The Latino Art Museum is a cultural institution -non profit- located in Pomona, city of Los Angeles County, also called Art Colony Pomona, for its cultural activity, the LAM was founded 18 years ago exclusively to promote and present in its facilities Latin American art and the fact of having a permanent presence of the art of Mexico means and encourages us to continue with our work of promoting culture.
To start this project we designed the exhibition <Map of the Art of Mexico> which represents a catalog of the artistic possibilities of authors from all regions of the country and will be inaugurated on February 9, exhibiting the work of 37 artists whom we detect, contact and we select based on its diversity of origins, concepts, techniques, themes and genres.
We hope to obtain a good success of this first incursion of Mexican art in the Latino Art Museum of Pomona, California.
