A non-juried, open-walls, digital-printout exhibition in June.  There is a $15.00 fee for each submitted and printed-out image.  All work that meets the criteria will be accepted.

Entry Deadline June 8, 2014
Exhibition dates June 25, 2014 – July 19, 2014

This exhibition will celebrate who/what we honor and admire and/or who/what we fear and disdain. In this era of polarization we are seeking images that deal with this issue. We seek to present a moral cast of characters,  a view into our present polarized consciousness about heroes and villains.  We want to feature outsized depictions, stylizations, comic book portrayals, straight portraits or however else you imagine yourself in a world of characters you admire, disdain, idolize, fear, or want to aggrandize.

All images must be emailed to the gallery in a jpg format. Images can be graphic comic book-like imagery, drawings, photos, paintings, computer generated, or any other media that can be submitted in a digital format.

Submitted images must be sent through the prospectus at or emailed to the gallery at and paid by check to ARC Gallery at ARC Gallery,2156 North Damen Avenue, Chicago, Illinois 60647.

ARC Gallery will PRINT THESE IMAGES OUT in a 9x12 inch format on 11x14 inch paper. The printed-out images will fill one of the ARC exhibition spaces. Please be sure that your image can be printed 9x12" without getting cropped. The orientation of the image can be horizontal or vertical.
