Mita Brahma

"Nature at all levels of scale excites me. Transient elementary particles seem to fade in and form out of vacuum and pure energy. Cells reproduce through helical genomic structures with irregular geometric gene mappings…  I like to think my strokes depict the universal energy or “Shakti” in humans and all objects – including seemingly 'inanimate' objects like rocks or gaseous vapors."

Mita Brahma has exhibited in numerous group exhibitions in New Delhi and Gurgaon, and her work was selected for the Florence Biennale IX as well as the International Contemporary Artists art book, volume VI, 2013 published by I.C.A. Publishing, New York. Brahma lives and works in Gurgaon, India. For more information please visit:
