NURTUREart Non-Profit Inc. is dedicated to nurturing new contemporary art by providing exhibition opportunities and resources for emerging artists, curators and public school students.

NURTUREart Non-Profit is pleased to announce that the organization’s 2012 Benefit will take place at Charles Bank Gallery on the Lower East Side. This annual benefit will be held on Monday, October 29th, from 7-9pm and attendees will each take home a work of art of their choice.  For the first time, NURTUREart will also host a special VIP Night for upper-level ticket-holders and the night’s participating artists, to be held on Sunday, October 28th from 6-8pm. The event is hosted by NURTUREart’s Benefit Committee, co-chaired by Liz Dimmitt, Carol Salmanson and David Harper as well as honorary committee members Anita Durst, Jose Parla, Steve Shane and Mickalene Thomas. The celebration will feature an exhibition of over 250 artworks donated by artists, selected from an open call and juried by Kianga Ellis, Charlotta Kotik, Lawrence Rinder and Herb Tam.

NURTUREart's benefit will include an exhibition of works by emerging artists, an additional exhibition by the students of NURTUREart’s Education Outreach programs, and a relaxing reception with wine and hors d’oeuvres.  All proceeds from the event support NURTUREart Non-Profit and its unique, much-needed artistic and educational programs.  To view works by participating artists, visit
