This is to be read after "Andy Warhol's movie "FU*K" was there" ! for continuity!
I really want to watch one of these right now but i can't as i'm really getting tired, so i turn around to this massive bed about twenty feet away from the doorway, til then I was not able to see what now I'm unable to do anything but see it!
These things are usually in Museums not private homes, but this house and its owner are as unique as this Toledo -Salamanca Broadsword, a product of 13th. century Spain.
This sword i found out later on was made and owned BEFORE Christianity came to Spain, and was still almost completely ruled over by Muslims when this historical artifact was crafted, how incredible and masterful the Artisans must have been to produce something as truly amazing as this, the handle is really far out and ingenius, it was used to trap your opponents sword, allowing the owner to deal the deadly blow to the defenseless enemy!
Next to bedhead was a mounted signed electric guitar, not the usual thing one would have next to their bed necessarily, but then again this was not your every day guitar, a Jackson V shaped to be precise, as this i was told later belonged to Randy Rhoads, a guy who died way before he should have, twenty four or five if i remember correctly in 1982, doing something really fu*king stupid!
In short he basically flew the small plane he was co-piloting at the time, (must of been thinking he was being oh so funny) into the touring bus of Osbourne thinking he was passed-out asleep inside, and that he'd wake Ozzie up doing a REALLY close pass by in this plane, until it went horribly wrong and tragically sad for everyone who knew or had been touched by Randy while he was on the planet with us.
He played with Ozzie in his comeback tour in the early eighties, and was in NO doubt to anyone who know's guitar player's, definately in the Top twenty of Rock'n'roll electric guitar players of all-time in my opinion and many others, and as far as Heavy Metal guitar Gods, Rhoads would be in the top five or top ten FOR SURE!
"Bark at the moon" is hand written by Randy and signed, why i'm not sure and dated 1981! How cool is this guitar, priceless,........... truly priceless!
You don't have to like the style of music, it was a music and the style of those days and times, long lost to time and the next generation of "Belieber's", the early eighties equalled "hair bands and spandex", Motley Crue, Poison, i look back and just shake my head "what the hell were people think'in" etc. If you are unable to appreciate sheer musical talent and endless abilty on this instrument like Rhoads oozed from every pore with, try sometime playing one, you might learn something you never knew before.
To Be Cont.
