The FIAC 40th Anniversary Show

As the Grand Palais opens its doors to host the annual Foire Internationale d’Art Contemporain, thousands of d’art, gallery owners and dealers flock to the cultural centre to gawp, gasp and gander. A Day of Bay Area Wildflowers

The Marin Headlands and Sunol Regional Park (off 680 between Fremont and Pleasanton) I love visiting galleries as much as the next person, but with the sun shining bright and temperatures hovering around the mid seventies, it's a shame to stay indoors. The Bay Area is awash in wildflowers right now and what better way to enjoy those spring blooms than to go for a hike! Grand View Park

  Grand View Park Between 14th & 15th Aves at Noriega St Grand View Park in the Sunset District between 14th and 15th offers one of the best panoramic views of the city. From its highest point you can gaze out over downtown to Golden Gate Park stretching to the ocean. On a clear day you can look across the bay to the Marin headlands.
