DESCRIPTION

Triangle Gallery closed its doors February 11, 2011 in its fiftieth year as San Francisco's longest running contemporary art gallery.

Since its inception in 1961, Triangle Gallery has been exhibiting works in wide range of media including painting, sculpture, photography, printmaking, textiles and collage. Now representing over thirty contemporary artists, several of whom have been with the gallery for many years. Triangle Gallery was one of the first in San Francisco to include contemporary Japanese and Chinese art. Exhibitions generally feature two person shows and group shows, in addition to a showcase wall which displays sample works of the other artists. Visitors are warmly welcomed by Jack Van Hiele, founder and director, and are given time and space to view and study the wide range of  quality art.
