DESCRIPTION

Thomas Lee Bakofsky, has a penchant for the  urban dictionary. He illustrates words he finds humorous, simply likes the sound of, or have curious meanings. Trifecta Gallery fans will recognize the signature milky teal background but more than likely remember previous works of words like 'jerk face' and other misrepresented masculine phrases. Typography fans will adore the paintings. "I find when you turn an illustrator and graphic designer like Bakofsky loose to create a series of work not driven by a clients wishes, you get astounding results" says Marty Walsh, owner of Trifecta Gallery.

“…'What It Is' by Thomas Lee Bakofsky, in Trifecta Gallery. Fun, funny and really, really smart…”

The Las Vegas Weekly - Top Ten exhibits for 2008

Bakofsky is also a passionate expert on craft beer. He is a founder of Yeastside Brewers in Los Angeles.  Can you imagine his source of inspiration combined with the wit of Casey Weldon (they're college chums by the way)?  You won't have to wait long....
