DESCRIPTION

A two night exhibition/exposition featuring five artists, Hannah Ireland, Joseph Rosenzweig, Benjamin Vilmain and (in collaboration) Hunter Longe + James Cordas, plus an essay/text by Brandon Drew Holmes.

An Expo is a meeting place in a host space, a neutral territory (which is never neutral). Liminal Space is a large venue with definite characteristics both architectural and pertaining to its usage. It provides a heightened specificity of context within which the artists' four installations will differently situate themselves.

Curated by Jackie Im and Aaron Harbour, who have as part of their Feed Forward residency set up ET AL., a library/office base of operations. The library is accessible; the books are all available for check-out, and the curators are available for consultations and reading/lending until April 30th.
