The 'O' is a small quaint gallery and retail space in Mission, specializing in the works of local artists and artisans, as well as found artifacts from times and places far away. It houses an array of trinkets, prints, devices, jewelry, bits and pieces of just about anything of any nature. A hookah lounge in the past, there is still, historically, a small smoke shop section to top it all off.
It's been a year since we started exhibiting the works of artists from around the Bay. Looking back at all the great people that came through here, we decided to show our appreciation and invite them back for a group show to celebrate our anniversary with a live set by our longest standing dj mr Rise.

Carina Lomeli
"My art comes from my real life in San Francisco. My faith now
lies in the people I see: family, community organizers, potential heroes and pieces of my
own landscape".
Enjoy her works at

Frost Newton:
Frost Newton has been a professional artist for over 20 years. His fine art career began around 1984, when he got married and his wife encouraged him to devote himself to fine art. We should all thank her for that.
Contemporary surrealim/abstract

Lacey Bryant
Lacey Bryant definitely deserves your attention as well as appreciation and admiration. She does almost everything: painting, knitting, pumking carving, sculpture. Where does she find time? What inspires her? You may ask her at the exhibition.

Shayna Yasuhara
aka Shayna Shenanigans is a self-trained American artist with roots in San Francisco. Armed with candy-colored acrylics and a handful of pens she creates an entire world teeming with life on high glossed wood panels. Take a look

Larissa Grant
Larissa Grant doesn't share a lot about herself but her works inspire and her art is strong. Any doubts? Here -

Being naturally blurry comes in handy sometimes..

Joshua King - "We wear many masks depending on our surroundings; we are chameleons in that sense. In my paintings, the figures get pushed back into space as flat color dictates their immediacy. The atmosphere is abstract and ambiguous, lending little
information as to the context of the figure". Intrigued?

Chris Love stays underground and keeps in the dark. Little is known about him except for his occasional cooperation with the above mentioned Joshua King.

Sky Louise Hanson - a part of the former Oz Smoking Lounge
Sky Louise Love is a local artist in Boulder, CO. Her visionary artworks can be found all over the world. She began her professional career in Texas, Arizona, and New Mexico, taking part in underground art shows and events throughout the southwest from 2001-2004.
