DESCRIPTION

Marking time is a small group show by artists Angela Willets, Bernadette Jiyong Frank and Jeong Im Yi.  The show explores various dimensions of the measurement and recording of Time, including: sequences of events and the intervals between them; recording the motions of change; the continuum in which events occur in succession from the past to the present and on to the future; traces of the past found in the present; and the spatial reference frame which triggers one’s perception of time and space. Each artist expresses a motion of Time in her brush strokes, repetitive process and colors.
