In what the San Francisco International Arts Festival (SFIAF) hopes to be a developing relationship in live zero-gravity performances in future years, SFIAF introduces the Zero Gravity Arts Consortium (ZGAC) to its audience. The program include fictional and non-fictional works, curated by Zero Gravity founder Frank Pietronigro.

The works screened feature arts, culture, humanities, space science, and engineering themed "video shorts" showcasing collaborations created by international space artists, institutions, and organizations working within the interdisciplinary nexus of culture and space exploration. Guest appearances and brief presentations by space artists, videographers, space scientists, and engineers take place in conjunction with the screenings.

San Francisco International Arts Festival (SFIAF) 2011 offers more than 40 performances presented by 23 arts organizations and ensembles at Fort Mason Center (FMC) and other venues. FMC performances occur in the Southside Theater in Building D.

SFIAF's theme, "The Truth in Knowing/Now: Threads in Time, Place, Culture," reflects the festivals ties to local and global performers and artists. SFIAF 2011 features artists from the San Francisco Bay Area, San Diego, Seattle, Cuba, Mexico, Poland, Spain, Iraq, the Netherlands, and Israel. Visit SFIAF's web site for the complete schedule, additional dates, and locations.
