DESCRIPTION

Artwork created out of plastic post consumer waste.  Plastic waste has become a new "natural" resource for artists.  This exhibit features artists who harvest plastic detritus and transform it into drawing, sculpture, and installation.  The plastic is upcycled or converted from waste into art. The curator brings together accomplished artists whose work first engages aesthetic appreciation, then yields to the recognition that it is formed of trash. A digital catalog will be available for download. Please check website for related art workshops and artists' talk.  Curator: Barbara Lubliner
