As northern Palm Beach and southern Martin Counties' oldest and largest visual arts museum, the Lighthouse ArtCenter is a two-building operation featuring a museum and a school of art with classes for children and adults, beginner through professional levels, a popular summer camp for kids ages 4-12 and diverse and educational exhibits.
Programs also include art openings, lectures, musical concerts and our 3rd Thursday evening of each month, where we feature fun, social activities, such as concerts, lectures, art demonstrations, live performances and gallery talks. It's a perfect opportunity to broaden one’s knowledge of the arts and mingle with other art enthusiasts and Lighthouse ArtCenter members.
Our members also receive a discount at our Art Supply Store and Gift Shop.
Our ArtBridge Outreach program provides educational art experiences for underserved populations and communities.
Founded in 1963 by Christopher Norton (son of Ralph and Elizabeth Norton of the Norton Museum of Art), the Lighthouse ArtCenter is a Tequesta-based operation and exhibition museum dedicated to educating and developing an appreciation of and interest in the arts for all ages.
The ArtCenter offers a diverse schedule of exhibitions through the year, regular seminars, classes and workshops, and many special events for all ages and interests.
The Lighthouse ArtCenter provides a bridge to the visual and performing arts for the community through unique collections, engaging exhibitions and cultural programs, a dynamic School of Art and diverse outreach activities.
