DESCRIPTION

The Patricia & Phillip Frost Art Museum hosts a symposium entitled Portraits & Identity: Seminole Portraits, on Wednesday, January 9, 2013. The symposium brings together a select group of scholars and Native American artists who will address the history of the Native American art movement in the U.S., together with the topic of portraits, from ethnography, art history, and artistic perspectives.
