SPECIAL SCULPTURE WORKSHOPS
The figurative sculpture of Eduardo Gomez is simultaneously sensitive and obsessive, precise and informal, brutally honest and visually ambiguous. “I feel captivated by the human form, its proportionality, its plasticity, and its movement. The human figure reflects the passion and moral tension which inhabits our soul…” Gomez was born in Colombia and moved to the US as a young man. His artistic career began while he was a young undergraduate student, and later in life, he returned to art school at the University of Arkansas, Little Rock. Eduardo also studied independently under various nationally recognized sculptors.
