Folie à deux describes the psychiatric syndrome in which two people enter a shared delusion, or more colloquially, the playacted ‘game’ often formulated privately by couples. But delusions or secret flights of fancy are not what spring to mind in the face of Rachel Howard’s disconcerting new works at Blain Southern.
