Standing on the ground floor of the 1930s Pelican House building on the Peckham Road, a minute walk from Camberwell College of Arts and the South London Gallery; it’s right in the centre of South London’s thriving arts community.

Vast sash windows and doors both designed and built by Practice Architecture flood the gallery with natural light.

The gallery is fully licensed and open late.

Interspersing shows is a lively events program incorporating live music, theatre and academic speakers.

Collaborating with guest curators such as Dieter Kloss and Guy Gormley’s ‘Brickhouse’ the New Gallery has shown works from, among others, Paul Schneider, Alex Sturrock, Edwin Burdis, Kate Price, Hanna Terese Nilsson and Aislinn Dowling. Upcoming shows include Lily Keal and Samara Scott.
