DESCRIPTION

A FREE event curated by Paulina Latham of the Polish Cultural Institute, at the Vinyl Factory Gallery on Poland Street in Soho.  A chance to experience a unique programme of contemporary Polish Art, Film and Design.  Award-winning architects MOOMOO will transform the interior; Marcel Lozinski films and the 'History of Polish Rock' will be screened;   Adam Ficek of Babyshambles will DJ in the evening;  Black Market Books will exhibit banned literature, and visitors will be able to win Wodka Wyborowa beetroot cocktails. 

The event is titled 'Poland Street Underground: KONTROL', and the Curator was inspired by Orwell's '1984' and the 20th Anniversary of the fall of the Iron Curtain.  Artists exhibiting are;  Jaroslaw Kozakiewicz, Rafal Bujnowski, Rafal Jakubowicz, Kasia Krakowiak, Joanna Rajkowska, Richard & Keith, Janek Simon, Artur Zmijewski.
