FLUX Exhibition is the new and exciting event of international contemporary art and performance  hosted by Grays Art Gallery. FLUX launched in February 2015 and quickly became established as the event to be at.  Over 70 artists exhibited throughout two rooms at the 5 day event in East London.  FLUX incorporated  live painting , installation and performance to ensure the event was a truly inspirational occasion.  The private evening has been described as ‘the best opening night in a decade’  The atmosphere was electric and FLUX buzzed with the enthusiasm of artists and art lovers.

FLUX aims to bridge the gap between artists and buyers, bringing contemporary art to a wider audience and actively seeking collaborations, commissions and fantastic venues for exhibitions.  The next FLUX will be held at the worlds best art school The Royal College of Art in Kensington.  We will be displaying  work from the most talented contemporary artists and performers ensuring FLUX is a spectacular and immersive experience for art lovers and collectors.

We are currently selecting from over 500 applicants.  Artists selected so far include:

Ignacio Burgos

Is well known to the international audience: his exhibitions are shown in major world capitals, and his works are kept in museums and private collections around the world. Apart from painting, the artist has worked with photography and metal and has created glass sculptures. The exhibition at the Moscow Museum of Modern Art will acquaint the Russian public with Ignacio Burgos’s painted works and presents a full and extensive range of his oeuvre.

Liviu Mihai

Born in Slatina, he attended the Art School in Craiova and later the Bucharest National University of Arts. His graphic talent and his knowledge of the rules of the chromatic game recommend him as an artist whose future influence on the art world will undoubtedly be a far-reaching one. His highly modern approaches to classic themes are illustrated by one of his recent projects, F-line, a work about the mysteriousness of femininity as expressed by the beautiful forms of those endowed with public recognition and fame as stars.
Steven Dolbin
A recognized sculptor, performance artist and published art educator he has exhibited his work throughout the United States and beyond. Dolbin is the recipient of numerous awards such as the prestigious Pollock-Krasner Grant. His work is included in numerous private and public collections and is featured in the seminal textbook on Sculpture and three-dimensional design “Shaping Space by Zelanski and Fisher. Articles concerning his work have appeared in The New York Times and other publications.

Andrew Kinsman

Self-taught artist and musician Andrew Kinsman, sold his first piece of artwork when he was only twelve years old. He has painted commissions for celebrities and royalty alike, and has recorded soundtracks and albums with music novelties such as Noel Gallagher and English Rock Band, Kasabian.  He has completed commissions for His Highness Sheik Mohammed, Sultan Al Thani of Qatar, American actor Rolf Saxon, and celebrity chef, Eric Lanlard. Following his work for Lanlard, Kinsman was commissioned by London’s Halcyon Gallery in 2011 to paint a distinguished portrait of the Hariri Family, Lebanon’s wealthiest and most powerful ruling family. However, his most prestigious commission to date was in 2012 when he was asked by the Royal Mail to paint a series of eleven stamps to commemorate 150 years of League football. The players featured included Sir Bobby Moore, George Best and Dennis Law to name a few.

Mary Beth White

Molly Beth White is an award winning artist and performer specialising in film, installation and performance.  She has exhibited internationally at venues such as Tate Modern, Tate Britain, Roundhouse and FAMU and we are delighted that she will be performing at our opening night party.

The Buzz from FLUX1

Such a shame FLUX is over.  That was an amazing and powerful exhibition and that’s all thanks to London’s Art Queen Lisa Gray thank you so much and can’t wait for the next one!  Kris Cieslak

Great opening night at the FLUX Exhibition last night, tons of fabulous work and great to meet so many lovely people! Well done Lisa Gray for curating and organising such a tremendous show, have not been to opening night like that in a very long time! Bravo!!!  Mason Storm

Fantastic event.  Fantastic talent.  Fantastic people.  It blew my mind.  This week I’m in withdrawal.  Big thanks.
Robert Adam

Exquisitely curated by her, the exhibition displays the works of over 70 of the hottest artists from around the globe.  The atmosphere was electric and fun, with eccentric live performances in a venue that is airy and unique in character.  The ChromArt team were there in full.  We talked to the artists about their works and had a great time mingling with lots of familiar faces plus other art entrepreneurs like the lovely people of Whitesao.  It felt like a celebration and although the place was bursting to the seams with people, there was space to move around and everyone was having a great ime.  The bar never seamed to run out either! Such was the frenzy the ChromArt team didn’t stick together long, just for a quick picture at the beginning of the evening.  This incombustible woman that is Lisa Gray, with her passionate drive and vision, has set the standard for contemporary art scene in London.  She is already preparing forthcoming shows.  We look forward to seeing what wonderful events she has prepared for us.  ChromArt
