DESCRIPTION

Eternal Eve 2013 international visual art exhibition is a celebration of spring and femininity.  It closely follows International Women’s Day and the United Kingdom Mother’s Day. Paintings, sculpture, digital art and fine art photography were put together to pay tribute to the role of a woman in the contemporary society.

Female form is open to artistic interpretations.  It is displayed in a variety of shapes, techniques and styles. Exhibition combines figurative works and abstract ones as it shows women sad and happy, dancing and mourning, modern and ethnic, religious and secular, fat and elegant, pregnant and meditative, as seen by both male and female artists from 10 countries: UK, Bulgaria, Slovenia, Russia, Ukraine, France, Italy, India, Sweden and South Africa.

Artists include: Shiri Achu, Daniel Jordanov Alberchy, Saya Becuwe, Mirella Masiero, Abhijit Bhattacharya, Irina Kvetka, Eugenie Absalom, Valentini Ferdinando, Giacomo Sonaglia, Rosa Iorio, Christian Nguyen, Cascetti Matteo, Elena Churnosova, Helena Vogelzang, Elena Chileeva and Josephine Bergman.

Eternal Eve 2013 will run from 11 till 16 March at La Galleria Pall Mall in central London, with an Opening Night on Monday, 11 March from 6:30 till 9:30pm. Welcome drinks and live music by Oleg Lapidus will set the mood and atmosphere for spring celebrations.

Exhibition is curated by Zina Bercovici.

You can enter the arcade both from Pall Mall, across the road from the Institute of Directors, or from Charles II Street.
