DESCRIPTION

Difference and Repetition presents new and site specific works by Action Space artists Abu Hasnat, Kathleen Sweet, Patrick Moses, Philippa Marshall and Thomas Owen at Camden Arts Centre.

Working with Michelle Kurth, Georgie Manly and Evan Ifekoya, the Action Space artists have investigated new avenues in their practices.

Using visits to Camden Arts Centre as a starting point for new ideas, they were invited to respond to the spatial, visual and architectural experience as well as the exhibition "Observation Point" by Zoe Leonard. Source material and inspirations were taken back to the Action Space studio and used as a catalyst for exploration of new materials and processes and new directions in their artwork.

Preview View with the Artists: Tuesday, 24 July, 11am-12.30pm
Private View and Drinks Reception: Wednesday 25 July, 6.30 – 8.30pm

Difference and Repetition is a partnership project between Action Space and Camden Arts Centre and funded by the Paul Hamlyn Foundation as part of Camden Arts Centre's "Get the Message" project.
