SKOPOS [the watcher]
An exhibition that investigates aspects of observation in contemporary art and explores the relationship between artist, artwork and audience. The act of looking is often socially regulated, but how are these rules changing with developments in the politics of equality and with modern technologies? For example, the work may broach themes including, but not restricted to, identity, narcissism, voyeurism and gender politics.
