See Yourself Sensing
See Yourself Sensing is a survey of work by artists, architects and designers (scientists too) whose projects engage the body and the senses – prosthetics, wearables, exoskeletons, head gear, new organs, neuroscientific devices, inflatables, responsive environments, portable environments, installations and other body projects that transform and provoke the wearer’s sensory experience. There will be approximately 250 full color images of work by international artists. See Yourself Sensing promises to be an exciting and significant collection. I teach design at Columbia University and at Parsons: The New School for Design in New York City and I’m a filmmaker, writer and architect.
