In anticipation of Hiller’s upcoming retrospective at Tate Britain, the American, London-based artist discusses with a California-based, British art historian, the transatlantic conundrums of conceptualism, and the role of humour and the unconscious in the creative act.

Frieze Talks 2010, a daily programme of keynote lectures, panel debates and discussions, is presented by Frieze Foundation in collaboration with frieze magazine.

Access is included in the Frieze Art Fair admission ticket. Seats for each day’s talks can be individually booked at the auditorium from 11am on the day.
