University of Cincinnati: seeking a Visiting Artist in Residence for the Fall 2013 Semester

The Visiting Artist Committee in the School of Art at the University of Cincinnati is seeking a Visiting Artist in Residence for the Fall 2013 Semester. The School of Art is an interdisciplinary program that offers both BFA and MFA degrees.

While interdisciplinary, we have a range of medium specific courses and facilities and are looking for a flexible, dynamic, and motivated visiting artist in residence. The majority of the classes are 2D (photo, painting, drawing, printmaking, new media) along with team taught courses in BFA and MFA thesis research, and professional practices.

The teaching load for the Fall semester would be 2 studio courses as well as one interdisciplinary, team-taught BFA or MFA thesis/critique course. In addition to teaching, the Visiting Artist in Residence would be expected to give a public lecture on their work as well as be available for studio visits with graduate students.

Interested artists should send a current CV and link to an online portfolio (or website) of your work by March 15th or, MFA is required.
