Gavin Bunner is an artist. He likes the print out images he finds on Google. He then likes to trace those images together to make jokes. He likes to get his images from Google, so that the images he uses, are images his audience can recognize and relate to. He also watercolors his images so they are not just liney messes, and can be more readily deciphered by said audience. Also Gavin really likes colors.

Gavin Bunner named his series "Hatercolors" because he didn't want the series of drawings to be titled a boring "Watercolors". So he started playing with how to make Watercolors sound cooler. H20colors was unsatisfactory, so he tried Whatercolors. Realizing that if he dropped the W, the title of the series would be the much hipper Hatercolors, the drawings there after became known as the "Hatercolors". So for the record, the drawings don't hate, they just wanted a catchy name.
