DESCRIPTION

The Hangar Gallery, at the Santa Monica Art Studios, is pleased to welcome quirky British artist extraordinaire, Ross Eccles, and we would love for you to join us for an afternoon of art and refreshments at the opening of ‘Autotelism'.

This vibrant menagerie of Ross Eccles captivating works will be on display at The Santa Monica Art Studios from March 28th - April 25th.

Ross is regarded as one of the most notable and popular artists to emerge from the Irish art scene in recent years. He has built a reputation on creating fun, exciting works that appeal to people of all ages and backgrounds, from achingly-trendy hipsters to tweedy English aristocrats - he's even known to have caught the eye of one or two homeless chaps over the years! As his popularity has increased the value of his paintings has grown concurrently, making them a solid investment for everyone from first time buyers to dedicated art collectors.

Now he has bought his most likeable pieces to Los Angeles, for his second west coast solo exhibition, where his edgy, contemporary paintings are sure to gratify both the curious sophisticates and the notorious sycophants who gather round to observe all alien newcomers from across the pond.

The opening reception will take place on Saturday March 28th, from 1-5pm at the Santa Monica Art Studios, coinciding with the third annual Santa Monica Airport Art Walk. Visitors will be encouraged to interact with the art and the artists, explore the space and enjoy being part of a diverting, candid cultural experience.
