DESCRIPTION

The California Art Club pays tribute to famed landmarks of the Golden State with the exhibition Legendary Landmarks of California, on view at its gallery at the historic Old Mill through  May 4, 2014.

The display features nearly 40 paintings that provide a visual tour of historic sites and breathtaking natural resources that are synonymous with life in California. The viewer will be transported from the Golden Gate Bridge and Mt. Tamalpai in the northern part of the state, to Hearst Castle and Yosemite along the way to San Diego’s Old Town.

All of the participating artists in the exhibition are juried members of the California Art Club and include Larry Cannon, Jose De Juan, Karl Dempwolf, Linda DuPas, Terri Ford, Lynn Gertenbach, Carolyn Hesse-Low, Debra Holladay, Chuck Kovacic, Frank Lennartz, Molly Lipsher, Elaine Mathews, Jennifer Moses, Rita Pacheco, Tony Peters, Jeff Richards, Rodolfo Rivademar, Junn Roca, Linda Rogers, Michael Situ, W. Jason Situ, Karen Winters, and Joan Horsfall Young.

After the opening of the exhibition, the artwork may be viewed online at www.californiaartclub.org
