On Saturday, November 16th, Cella Gallery is honored to present “The New Normal” an important group exhibition that showcases work by some of the best up-and-coming artists in the new contemporary art movement.  This no-gimmick show features artists with diverse styles, whose common ground is found in the depth of their talent and their ability to transcend their formal training and technical proficiency to find interest, narrative, emotion and personal perspective in each work of art.  They are redefining the “normal” in contemporary art, drawing on popular culture, graphic art, design and street art.  Utilizing different mediums and building upon their foundation in figurative work, each artist finds their own unique expression and successfully translates it for the viewer.

The New Normal

Shaun Berke, Elliot Brown, Nicole Bruckman, Jose Javier Carabes, Jenna Gibson, S. Jin, Wayne Johnson, Jeff McMillan, Sean Norvet, Allison Reimold, Casey Weldon and Christine Wu.

Cella Gallery is pleased to be working once again with Nicole Bruckman and Jenna Gibson in curating “The New Normal”.  For this show both women will have dual roles, as co-curators with the gallery and as artists featuring their work in the show.  The reception is open to the public and on view until December 13, 2013. An RSVP is requested, although not mandatory. Please contact Shannon at to RSVP or to request a VIP preview.
