DESCRIPTION

From MichealKate:

All Day Music and Art. Located in the cool part of the Funk Zone, MichaelKate Interiors & Art Gallery presents original music from 12-6pm on our patio stage. Then from 5-8pm we switch to an art reception for our new exhibit: Contemporary Art from Silver Lake, Highland Park, Los Angeles, and Santa Barbara.

There’ll be a panel discussion with the artists moderated by Charles Donelan at 6:30pm. The artists are Christopher Urlich from W. Los Angeles, Christina Tonges Korn from Highland Park, Barbara Romain from Echo Park and Wallace Piatt from Santa Barbara.

LIVE MUSIC: 12-6pm by Steve Fort, Jesse Rhodes, Kent Lewis, Steven Kruft, Robert Postel, Donna Lynn Caskey and Zach Madden outside on our front patio. Exotica DJ Dave Esquer will be spinning discs from his vinyl collection starting at 5pm.

MichaelKate Interiors & Art Gallery continues to bring the best of West Coast Contemporary Art to Santa Barbara with our ongoing series of art shows and events. We also sell the best mid-century, modern, contemporary and transitional furniture. Come see amazing art, meet new people and support the Santa Barbara art and cultural scene. It's all happening as part of the Funk Zone Arts Fest, Saturday October 19th.
