DESCRIPTION

Los Angeles, CA. - W13 Exhibition: Exploring 'Re-Modernism and 'Culture of War and Peace' includes painting, photography, performance art and visual music installation; it's presented to invoke the rebirth of art renaissance, a return to the days when art shows were driven by luminaries and less by commodity traders. Hanging art on the wall and having a muted conversation is not the forte of this exhibition; but rather a sincere aim towards provoking thoughts, igniting joy, stimulating enlightenment and celebrating awakening of minds.

The exhibition opens Sunday September 28, 2008 with premiere performance by Shannon Michael Terry in concert with members of Open Door Orchestra, and a visual music installation by Kate McCallum and the Bridge Art Media.

Hosting the 'Artist Talk' is COURTNEY REID a renowned artist know for her primal induced abstract figurative work, will be discussing Re-modernism - a movement towards a new spiritual art with a celebrated spiritual artist and special guest speaker -LINDA VALLEJO; while on the subject of Culture of War and Peace, the dialogue will expand to include artist DAVID THOMAS known for his "take no prisoner straight talk express” and artist SHALLA JAVID.

We promise it's going to be a pleasant evening of art, talk, and entertainment; try to be there
